Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy Meets with Defenders Close to Conflict-Stricken Pokrovsk Front

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a trip to speak to Ukrainian forces in the eastern front on the weekday. Zelenskyy announced that he met with warriors at the operational headquarters of the first unit of the Ukrainian National Guard Azov, which is leading defense efforts in the Dobropillya sector, a town approximately a short distance from the city.

Critical Situation in the Region

Updated analysis from a Ukrainian project showed that Russian forces had pushed further into the city and surrounding areas, though much of it lacked clear dominance by either side. The situation remains critical, with accounts indicating that invading units were fortifying positions and enhancing fortifications in various sectors.
